Donate to Physician Quality Improvement
by a 501c3 non-profit organization,
American Medical Foundation for Peer Review and Education.

In 1987, leadership from the nation’s medical and surgical specialty societies created our non-profit, 501c3 Foundation as a unique source for physician quality improvement and continued learning, it is the leading organization in the United States for hospital and medical staff peer review and on-site physician continuing education.

During the past 35 years, over 3400 hospitals and their physicians have benefited from the advice and direct counselling by distinguished teachers amongst the foremost medical educators in their fields

We would appreciate your assistance.in supporting our goals of improved care for patients. Donations would help us to continue with our dedication to physicians and surgeons achieving their goals. We support speciality society programs and importantly their Maintenance of Certification Practice. Supporting our operations will enable these.

We have resolved problems of physicians utilizing new procedures and technology. We received a $2,000,000 grant to create an innovative methodology to be used as a template for future training and retraining of practicing community surgeons.

We administered this Grant, which was implemented by six prestigious specialty societies including, the American College of Surgeons (ACS)Society of Thoracic Surgeons/the American Association of Thoracic Surgeons (STS/AATS), the American College of Cardiology (ACC), the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS), and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCA&I).

As a non-profit foundation, we received Grants of Stock for 13 years from the C.V. Starr Foundation which enabled us to assist more than 130 small and rural hospitals and improve patient care.
